IAEA Board of Governors adopts a “politically-motivated” resolution against Iran
Pars Today – The Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) adopted a “politically-motivated” resolution against Iran during its quarterly meeting in Vienna.
The resolution, proposed by the United States and three European countries — France, Germany, and the United Kingdom — was approved on Thursday at the IAEA Board of Governors’ meeting in Vienna.
The resolution was supported by the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Ecuador, Ukraine, Canada, Georgia, Japan, South Korea, Morocco, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and Colombia.
Russia, China, and Burkina Faso voted against the resolution.
South Africa, India, Pakistan, Egypt, Indonesia, Brazil, Ghana, Thailand, Algeria, Armenia, and Bangladesh abstained. (IRIB news agency)
