Esmaeil Baghaei reacts to issuance of Board of Governors' anti-Iran resolution: This action is unjustified, unfounded and cruel
Pars Today – The spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the misuse of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) by three European countries and the United States against Iran, calling the move unjustified and politically motivated.
Esmaeil Baghaei on Thursday firmly rejected the allegations included in the IAEA Board of Governors' resolution and described the measure as an unjustified, baseless, and oppressive act. He stated that the resolution was designed and executed with the aim of exerting pressure on Iran to forgo the legitimate rights and interests of its people in the peaceful use of nuclear energy.
Baghaei emphasized: “The claim that Iran is not complying with its commitments, in itself, reflects the dishonesty and ill intent of the resolution's drafters, since even in the completely political report of the IAEA director general, no such claim was made.” (IRNA)
