Barzani: On Ashura, Imam Hussein (PBUH) embodied values of truth-seeking, patience, and martyrdom

Pars Today – The president of Iraq’s Kurdistan Region issued a message on Sunday on the occasion of Ashura, stating that Imam Hussein (PBUH) highlighted the values of truth-seeking, patience, and martyrdom.

Nechirvan Idris Barzani said: "On the Day of Ashura, we commemorate the values of truth-seeking, sacrifice, patience, and martyrdom that Imam Hussein (PBUH) exemplified." He added that the grand commemoration of Ashura is a celebration of human dignity and a remembrance of the timeless lessons and insights that call for justice, forgiveness, and peace.
