UN Human Rights Rapporteur to Israel’s supporters: How do you sleep peacefully at night!

Pars Today – UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese, addressing supporters of the Israeli regime, questioned how they could sleep peacefully at night as dozens of Palestinian children in Gaza die daily from starvation.

In a post on X, accompanied by a photo of emaciated Gazan children, she wrote: “I have never felt so shaken.”
Referring to Israel’s prevention of food reaching Gaza’s women and children, she added: “Before our very eyes, Gazan children are withering like petals of a dying flower.”
Albanese called out presidents, foreign ministers, political leaders, diplomats, and human rights activists, asking: “How do you sleep at night while doing nothing to stop Israel’s use of starvation as a weapon of war?”
She said the world’s inaction in the face of Israel’s genocide in Gaza is a glaring example of the international community’s failure to stop such crimes. / IRNA
