Pars Today – On Friday evening, the foreign ministers of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Qatar reviewed the latest developments in Gaza and the West Bank and emphasized the urgent need for effective international and Islamic-Arab action to aid the defenseless people of Gaza, lift the food and medicine blockade on the Strip, and halt the ongoing genocide.
As part of Seyyed Abbas Araghchi’s continued consultations with foreign ministers of Islamic countries regarding the catastrophic situation facing the oppressed Palestinian people in occupied Gaza, he held talks with Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar.
During their discussion, the two sides examined the latest conditions in Gaza and the West Bank and reiterated the need for urgent and effective measures by the international community and Islamic-Arab countries to deliver humanitarian aid, end the food and medicine blockade, and stop the genocide.
The Iranian foreign minister also emphasized the importance of a collective response by Islamic and Arab nations through an emergency session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). He stressed that the international community must put an end to the occupying regime’s impunity and swiftly prosecute and punish the Zionist criminals for committing war crimes and crimes against humanity.
