‘Reforms and an administration of inclusive social dialog’
Speaking to reporters after putting down his name for the June 18 presidential vote, Shariatmadari said he had entered the fray to fight poverty, which has been on the rise in the country under draconian American sanctions.
He said he would work, if elected, to decrease unemployment, especially among the youth, ensure job security and education justice, and protect women’s rights.
Shariatmadari said he had come to the scene to shape an “inclusive administration of social dialog” and to make reforms.
