Iran's plan to strengthen Venezuela in AI / Venezuelan communications minister: Iran supporter of free nations

Pars Today- Iran's minister of communications and information technology informed of his country's readiness to transfer various experiences in the fields of electronic government, artificial intelligence and new post services to Venezuela.
Seyyed Sattar Hashemi, Iran's Minister of Communications and Information Technology, in his meeting on Sunday with Ramon Blázquez, the Venezuelan Minister of Transportation, referring to the abilities of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the field of artificial intelligence (AI), stressed that these abilities can be shared with Venezuela to transfer the know-how and experience related to AI. According to Pars Today, the explanation of the "National Window of Smart Government Services" and 30-step promotion of Iran in global indexes of "Electronic Government" due to benefiting from this window and post services were among other issues that the Iranian minister of communications and information technology announced Tehran's preparedness to transfer them to Venezuela.
The Iranian minister of communications and information technology, leading a delegation, has traveled to Caracas. In the meeting with his Venezuelan counterpart, Freddy Nanez, the Iranian minister said that social networks and communication systems can act as the axis of the countries' cooperation and interaction and stressed, "Media can introduce realities according to the capacities of Iran and Venezuela."
Expressing an inclination for sharing the know-how and infrastructures related to the creation and development of Iranian communication platforms and grids in Venezuela, Hashemi reminded Iran's high capacity to successfully counter cyber-attacks against communication infrastructures.
Freddy Nanez, for his part, pointing to the praising of Iranian culture and civilization by the Venezuelan President Nicholas Maduro, appreciated Iran's role in support for Palestine and free nations. He added, "To counter the Zionist regime and the American imperialism, the cooperation and interaction of the two countries should be accelerated."
The Venezuelan minister of communications also underscored the production of correct content to counter fake news and called for creation of a joint platform to produce correct and accurate content to confront the domineering system and imperialism.
Iran has always pursued gaining access to advanced scientific and technological layers, and the Leader of the Islamic Revolution has several times underlined the importance of progress in AI.
Among the most important issues, which Imam Khamenei has mentioned in his speeches, is the need for Iran to gain access to the deep layers of AI and placing Iran among the 10 top nations in the field.
