Pars Today- Iran's high-ranking officials, expressing decisive responses to the US president's remarks during his recent trip to the region, stressed that these remarks are not only ungrounded, but also indicative of his deep disinformation of the realities of Iran and the region.
The US President, Donald Trump, during his recent trip to three Arab countries of the region, strove to gain a media achievement through making allegations against Iran, yet the firm responses of the Iranian officials and the broad reactions of people proved that "Powerful Iran" not only is not affected with these allegations, but also will foil any psychological war.
Islamic Revolution Leader: "Trump's words are not worthy of response."
Ayatollah Khamenei, Leader of the Islamic Revolution, in the meeting of the Iranian teachers on Saturday, described Trump's remarks as "mean and cause of abjection" and said, "The US has not used power for peace but for massacre of Gaza and warmongering."
Iran's president: "Trump has not known Iranians!"
Masoud Pezeshkian, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, referring to the American president's remarks, said, "You backed DAESH (ISIL), but now are telling us we are warmongers? The Zionist regime is killing children and women, but you are masquerading humanity!"
Speaker of Iran's Islamic Consultative Assembly (Parliament): "Trump is in illusion!"
Iran's Parliament Speaker, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, said during the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States (PUIC) in Indonesia, that Trump's remarks indicate "illusion" and stressed, "The Palestinian resistance is in the heart of the regional people and no allegation will change this reality."
Harsh reaction of Iran's foreign minister: "Absolute deception!"
Iran's Foreign Minister, Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, pointing to the crimes of the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip, said, "Trump wants to replace realities to introduce Iran as a threat, while it is the Zionist regime which has killed tens of thousands of human beings."
