ParsToday - The senior spokesperson of Iran's Armed Forces warned that if Iran's ports, docks, and economic centers are attacked, no port or dock in the Persian Gulf will have security.
According to ParsToday, Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi, the senior spokesperson of Iran's Armed Forces, said on Wednesday in response to the threat of Brad Cooper, commander of the US Central Command (CENTCOM); Cooper recently threatened Iran and claimed that "IRGC naval vessels are hiding in Iran's economic docks and ports."
Brigadier General Shekarchi called this claim by the CENTCOM commander a "lie" and emphasized: "The naval forces of the IRGC and the Army are too powerful to go and hide in populated and economic centers."
He said: "The initiative in the Persian Gulf today is in the hands of Iranian forces. CENTCOM has used this as an excuse to target our economic centers and take specific action against innocent people."
The senior spokesperson of Iran's Armed Forces asked neighboring countries not to "harbor Americans and must expel them."
Brigadier General Shekarchi said: "The sovereignty and national interests of Muslim nations are respectable to us, but today their interests and resources have become a hiding place for Americans."
