Pars Today – The Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs has announced the freedom of passage in the Strait of Hormuz for the remaining period of the ceasefire.

According to Pars Today, Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, announced on social media on Friday that passage is free in the Strait of Hormuz for the remaining period of the ceasefire.

Araghchi added: Following the announcement of the ceasefire in Lebanon, the passage of all commercial vessels through the Strait of Hormuz is declared completely free for the remainder of the ceasefire period.

He stated that this passage must take place along the coordinated route previously announced by the Ports and Maritime Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
