Meeting of Iran’s Foreign Minister with the President of Russia
Pars Today – The President of Russia said that the Iranian people are bravely and heroically fighting for their sovereignty.
According to Pars Today, citing IRNA, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Monday during a meeting with Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi, referring to the aggression of the United States and the Zionist regime: “The Iranian people are bravely and heroically fighting for their sovereignty.”
Putin stated that he received a message last week from Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, and added: “I ask you to convey my most sincere gratitude for the message from Ayatollah Khamenei and to confirm Moscow’s position that Russia, like Iran, intends to continue its strategic relations.”
The Russian president continued: “We very much hope that under the guidance of the new Leader, the Iranian people, relying on their courage and their desire to preserve their independence, will pass through this difficult period and achieve peace.”
He emphasized: “For our part, we will do everything that benefits you and serves the interests of all the peoples of the region in order to achieve peace as soon as possible.”
At the beginning of the meeting, Iran’s Foreign Minister also said: “I convey the warm greetings of the Leader and the President of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, to you.”
While thanking Putin and Russia for their positions in support of Tehran following the military aggression by the United States and the Zionist regime against Iran, he noted: “The whole world witnessed Iran’s real power in confronting the United States, and it became clear that the Islamic Republic of Iran is a stable, strong, and powerful system.”
Araghchi added: “The Iranian people, through their courage, were able to resist the U.S. aggression and will be able to overcome it.”
The Iranian foreign minister stressed: “Relations between Moscow and Tehran are a strategic partnership and will continue to be strengthened.”
