“I commemorate the arrival of National Day of the Ever‑Persian Gulf and extend my greetings to all the residents of the islands of Islamic Iran in the Persian Gulf — from Hormuz, Larak, Hengam, Kish and Qeshm to Greater Tunb, Lesser Tunb, Abu Musa, Khark, Kharku, Siri, Hendurabi, Farsi, Minou, Khor and our other islands, which throughout history have always been the darlings and integral parts of Iran — and to the residents of the ports and the coastal provinces along the Persian Gulf, who are the historic guardians of the southern borders of our land.”
