Pars Today – The spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, referring to Iran’s recent proposal, stated that Iran’s 14‑point plan is solely focused on ending the war and includes no issues related to the nuclear field.
According to Mehr News Agency, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei, in a live televised interview about Iran’s plan—which was conveyed to the United States through Pakistan—explained:
Our plan is exclusively centered on ending the war. Any claims in the media about nuclear‑related details being part of this proposal are completely false.
He added: As for what may happen in the future, decisions will be made at the appropriate time. But at this stage, we are not engaged in any nuclear negotiations.
In response to a question regarding reports of joint mine-clearing operations in the Strait of Hormuz by Iran and the United States, Baqaei emphasized: "This is another one of those claims fabricated by the imagination of certain media outlets; no such thing exists in this plan."
Regarding the guarantee of the U.S. fulfilling its commitments, Baqaei noted: "I do not agree with the word 'guarantee' at all. Our guarantee is our own power and our leverage, and we must utilize them in the most effective way possible."
At the conclusion of his remarks, he announced: "The American side has responded to Iran’s proposed plan and has relayed its views to the Pakistani side. We are currently reviewing them and will take the necessary response."
