Velayati to Trump: We defeated you on battlefield; do not think you will win in diplomacy

Pars Today – A member of Iran’s Expediency Council addressed the U.S. president, writing: “We defeated you on the battlefield; therefore, never imagine that you will emerge victorious in diplomacy.”

According to Pars Today, Ali Akbar Velayati wrote Monday night on X: “Trump says that ‘Iran will no longer laugh’ and speaks of a ceasefire with ‘one big glow.’ But Trump is ambiguously threatening Iran with nuclear action while apparently believing the Pentagon’s falsehoods aimed at concealing the heavy casualties suffered by American soldiers.”

Velayati emphasized: “Mr. Trump, never assume that by taking advantage of today’s calm atmosphere, you will triumphantly enter Beijing. First, learn the ‘alphabet of the new geopolitical order in West Asia.’”

He added: “We defeated you on the battlefield; therefore, never imagine that you will win in diplomacy.”
