Pars Today – Kazem Gharibabadi, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs, said in a post on X that Gaza is not only a test of morality but also a test of governments’ adherence to international law and humanitarian principles.

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB News Agency, Kazem Gharibabadi referred to an investigative report based on official data from the Israeli Tax Authority, which indicates that between October 2023 and October 2025, military-related goods from dozens of countries were imported into the occupied territories.

He added that a significant portion of the value of these imports was recorded after the International Court of Justice issued its interim order regarding Gaza, raising a serious question for governments: whether the obligation under the 1948 Genocide Convention to prevent genocide is a real legal duty or merely a slogan used when it is cost-free.

Kazem Gharibabadi said that governments that, despite warnings from The Hague, continue to supply the war machine of the Israeli regime must clarify their responsibility under international law and their commitment to preventing genocide.

He emphasized that Gaza today is not only a test of ethics but also a test of states’ adherence to international law and human principles. He named several countries in this context, including United States, India, Germany, United Kingdom, and others.
