According to Pars Today, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, in a message on the anniversary of the inauguration of the Islamic Consultative Assembly (Iranian Parliament) and the beginning of the third year of the 12th Parliament's term, while appreciating the efforts of the representatives and the Speaker of Parliament, emphasized the necessity of safeguarding national unity, avoiding division, and focusing Parliament on the country's main issues, particularly the economy, livelihoods, curbing inflation, boosting production, and creating hope in society.

In this message, while appreciating the efforts of the representatives, especially the respected Speaker of Parliament, in advancing Iran's progress, he stated that a true representative of the nation is from the people and is sent at the level of the people. Emphasizing the need to preserve the great blessing of current national unity and unprecedented cohesion, he noted: It is necessary for every single devoted person whose heart beats for Islam and the revolution or for Iran's independence and honor, from now on, to strive more than ever to safeguard the unity of the nation's cohesive and interconnected ranks, not to turn unjustified or even justified differences into conflict and division, and to be, in word and deed, a manifestation of the nation's cohesion and integrity.

The full text of the message of Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, the Leader of the Revolution, is as follows:

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

I congratulate the blessed Eid al-Adha and the anniversary of the inauguration of the first term of the Islamic Consultative Assembly (Parliament) to all the dear nation of Islamic Iran and the esteemed representatives of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, and on this occasion, I appreciate the efforts of the representatives, especially the respected Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, Dr. Qalibaf, in the path of elevating the country.

The Islamic Consultative Assembly is the essence of the nation, the manifestation of religious democracy, and the pillar of law and legislation in the Islamic Republic, which plays an important role in exercising the will of the people. Now, with the passing of three months of the third holy defense, the inner worth and essence of the Iranian people, in faith, hope, and action, has been proven to both friend and foe, and the elevation of the Iranian people's standing has brought a dazzling manifestation of the essence of the nation's virtues to the fore. Since a true representative of the nation must be from the people themselves, the current moment is a turning point for the manifestation of the people's mission in the representatives and the Islamic Consultative Assembly, so that they may regulate their role-playing and fulfillment of responsibility at the level of the sent nation, and with doubled work and initiative, accelerate and deepen legislation and oversight on the path of laying the tracks for the future of Islamic Iran.

In this field of jihad, the seat of representation is considered a frontline trench of transformation in the path of the country's progress. Therefore, it is fitting that the nation's representatives, relying on the grace of Almighty Allah, seeking intercession from our Master and Leader (may Allah hasten his noble appearance), and honoring the pure blood of the innocent martyrs of the two American-Zionist imposed wars, foremost among them our great martyred leader (may his noble station be exalted), struggle wholeheartedly and devote all their strength and capacity for governance in synergy with the government and other institutions while maintaining the independence of the legislative branch, on the path of proper modernization of the country, resolving the concerns of the people, especially economic and livelihood issues, boosting production and employment, raising the level of science and industry, elevating culture and ethics, fighting financial corruption, curbing inflation and high prices, and comprehensive deprivation alleviation.

Accordingly, it is necessary that the resolutions of the Parliament have a direct and evident relationship with the main issues of the country and the needs of the people, and be focused on creating hope and building the future of the country. Society, above all, needs to see real signs of hope, a stable path, and a clear vision of the future, so that it can plan and move based on that. Through their stances, resolutions, and speeches, representatives can make the Islamic Consultative Assembly a driving institution for creating hope. Among other things, in the current situation, by cooperating with the executive and judicial branches, and focusing on the slogan "Resistance Economy, in the Shadow of National Unity and National Security" for the year 1405 (2026-2027), they should place economic stability, reducing inflation, managing liquidity, boosting production, amending the Seventh Progress Plan, and adding items related to the renovation and reconstruction of damages from the second and third imposed wars on their main agenda, and outline the roadmap for the movement of the government and other sectors in the current situation and the post-war era.

To play a role at the level of the sent nation, various prerequisites and requirements are also needed. In this brief space, I simply advise my dear brothers and sisters to carefully and seriously study the details of the statements of our great martyred leader (may his noble station be exalted) in the annual meetings with representatives of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, especially in recent years, which hold important experiential and operational value. Naturally, observing personal piety plays an essential role in ensuring adherence to those guidelines and correctly performing grave duties in this sensitive period. Correctly identifying priorities, informed votes based on studies, deep expert consultations, living among the people and extensive communication with them, comprehensive anti-corruption efforts, preferring national interests and public demands over factional, group, and regional needs and interests, paying attention to parliamentary diplomacy, courage and announcing clear and authoritative stances against the excessive demands of the arrogant powers, and intelligent and revolutionary attention to Iran's new position in the region and the world are among these requirements. Among the examples of piety is safeguarding the great blessing of national unity and the unprecedented cohesion that has been granted to the nation sent forth under the flag of Islamic Iran, and it is among the most important factors of victory against the Great Satan. Gratitude for this blessing is the commitment of all members of the nation, especially intellectual and political elites, including Parliament representatives, to protect this unity, avoid futile political disagreements, and highlight social differences. The blind scheme of the enemy—after the imposed war, economic pressure, and media and political siege—is to create discord and social division to compensate for military defeats and bring the nation to its knees. It is necessary that every single devoted person whose heart beats for Islam and the revolution or for Iran's independence and honor, from now on, strive more than ever to safeguard the unity of the nation's cohesive and interconnected ranks, not turn unjustified or even justified differences into conflict and division, and be, in word and deed, a manifestation of the nation's cohesion and integrity, God willing.
