Pars Today - The deputy secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, stating that the "Pharaoh's Pact" is the root of the region's problems has said that Iran's initiative to establish a new security equation in the region was welcomed by the participating countries.

According to Pars Today, citing IRNA, Ali Baqeri, the deputy secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, speaking to reporters on Thursday night at the end of his three-day trip to Moscow, said: The Islamic Republic of Iran's position in meetings with top security representatives of other countries — that following the recent military aggression by the United States and the Zionist regime, we must achieve a new equation for peace and stability — was welcomed by these countries. The formation of this new security equation must involve the participation of regional countries, the rejection of US intervention, and the repudiation of the Zionist regime's influence.

Baqeri clarified that the meeting of high-ranking security officials served as a platform to counter US unilateralism and a venue for dialogue to strengthen cooperation among countries that refuse to accept America imposing its views and policies on other nations.

The deputy secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council said: The Zionist regime has openly declared that it seeks to expand its illegitimate borders and intends to occupy other countries in the region. The aggressive, destabilizing plan for the region that the Americans once proposed as the "Greater Middle East" is now being pursued by the Zionists as the "Greater Israel" plan. Both plans share the same nature and are rooted in American unilateralism, with the Zionists, as followers and mercenaries of the Americans, seeking to play the role of hegemon in the region.

Baqeri added: At the international meeting of high-ranking security officials in Moscow, we emphasized that contrary to what the Americans and Zionists portray — that the Abraham Accords can bring peace and tranquility to the region — this plan is nothing but a lie. The reality is the "Pharaoh's Pact," spearheaded by a murderous, child-killing pharaonic regime, and promoting this idea will only spread instability and insecurity in the region.
