Pars Today – The Public Relations Office of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), coinciding with missile and drone attacks by the IRGC Aerospace Force on U.S. bases, warned that disrupting the regulations governing the Strait of Hormuz would come at a heavy cost.

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB News Agency, late Tuesday night, the aggressor U.S. military struck an Iranian oil tanker near the Strait of Hormuz with an aerial projectile. The tanker sustained damage in its engine room. In response to this act of aggression and violation of the Strait of Hormuz regulations, a vessel belonging to the American-Zionist enemy, named Panaya, was targeted by missiles launched by the IRGC Navy.

In a further act of aggression, the American enemy also targeted an IRGC communications tower in the southern part of Qeshm Island with aerial projectiles. In response, the IRGC Aerospace Force launched missile and drone attacks against their air and helicopter base located in one of the countries of the region, as well as the headquarters of the U.S. Fifth Fleet.

The IRGC had previously warned that any aggression would be met with a different and more severe response, and that undermining the security of the Strait of Hormuz would exact a heavy price from the aggressor U.S. military.
