Pars Today - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran has condemned the recent crimes of the terrorist American regime in its widespread aggression against Iran.

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran issued a statement strongly condemning the crimes of the terrorist American regime in its widespread aggression against Iran last night (Wednesday night) and emphasized that the responsibility for the very dangerous consequences of this provocation lies with the ruling administration of the United States.

The statement reads: "The illegal and criminal attacks by the United States in recent hours not only constitute a flagrant violation of the United Nations Charter and the fundamental rules of international law regarding respect for national sovereignty and territorial integrity of states, but have also effectively rendered meaningless the ceasefire dated April 8, 2026."

The statement adds: "On the other hand, the continued use by the terrorist American army of the territory and facilities of some regional countries to prepare and carry out aggressive operations against Iran places those countries alongside the aggressor parties. The Islamic Republic of Iran, while strongly reminding all regional countries of their legal and moral obligation to prevent the terrorist American army from using their territory, facilities, and resources to commit the crime of aggression against Iran, emphasizes its determination to neutralize the origin and source of aggressive attacks against Iran, in order to exercise the inherent right of legitimate self-defense against the military aggression of the United States and its allies."

The statement continues: "The Islamic Republic of Iran reminds all member states of the United Nations of their shared responsibility to explicitly oppose the flagrant violation of the fundamental principles and objectives of the UN Charter by the United States and the Zionist regime. There is no doubt that silence and inaction in the face of the lawbreaking and bullying of the United States and the Zionist regime will drive the world further towards chaos and insecurity."

The statement concludes: "The Islamic Republic of Iran notes the legal duty of the United Nations Security Council and each of its members to fulfill the Council's responsibility for international peace and security, and also emphasizes the legal and moral responsibility of the Secretary-General of the Organization, before the human conscience and international public opinion, to clearly state the existing facts. Issuing general and ambiguous statements, in a situation where there is not the slightest doubt about the aggressive nature of the actions of the United States and the Zionist regime, is not considered a responsible action and will merely encourage the aggressor parties to continue their lawbreaking and further violation of the fundamental principles and rules of the UN Charter and international law."
