IRGC: We stand ready to deliver a decisive response to any enemy miscalculation

Pars Today – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), marking the anniversary of Operation True Promise 3 and the second imposed war against the Islamic Republic of Iran, declared that Iran is fully prepared to respond decisively, immediately, and forcefully to any threat, aggression, violation, or enemy miscalculation.

According to Pars Today, citing IRNA, the IRGC said in a statement:

“June 13 marks one of the most decisive and glorious chapters in the contemporary history of the Islamic Republic of Iran. It is remembered as the period of the Second Sacred Defense, during which Iran confronted enemies who, under the illusion of success, imposed an all-out war on the country with the aim of weakening the Islamic Republic’s deterrent power, breaking the nation’s will, toppling the system, and fragmenting the homeland.”

The statement added that today, drawing upon the valuable experiences of the Sacred Defense as well as the historic battles fought during the 12-day and 40-day imposed wars, the Islamic Republic of Iran remains “with its finger on the trigger,” ready to provide a firm, immediate, painful, and regret-inducing response to any threat, aggression, hostile act, or potential miscalculation by its enemies.

The IRGC further emphasized that the “Zionist-American enemy” believed that by simultaneously employing military, security, intelligence, media, economic, and cognitive warfare capabilities, it could prevent the Iranian nation from pursuing its path of dignity, independence, and progress. However, according to the statement, the actual outcome was the failure of the strategic calculations of the U.S.-Israeli front and the creation of a lasting epic in the history of the Iranian people's resistance.

Iran's Defense Ministry: Any enemy miscalculation to face a response beyond imagination

In the same context, Iran’s Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics stated in a declaration that June 13, 2025, marked the beginning of the Iranian nation's Sacred Defense against a joint act of aggression by the Zionist regime and the criminal United States.

According to the statement, the aggression was aimed at dividing Iran and undermining the independence, security, and existence of the Islamic Republic, and took place while the parties were engaged in diplomacy and negotiations. The ministry said the incident once again exposed the deceptive, untrustworthy, and criminal nature of the enemies of the Iranian nation.

The Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics, while honoring the martyrs of the 12-Day Sacred Defense and the Sacred Defense of Ramadan—particularly the martyrs of the Defense Ministry, the martyred defense minister, and former martyred ministers—emphasized that the path of dignity, progress, and strength of the Islamic Republic of Iran will continue with determination.

The statement added that personnel in Iran’s defense industry will continue to fully support the armed forces and strengthen the country’s deterrence capabilities.

The ministry stressed that any miscalculation or violation of Iran’s security and territorial integrity would be met with a decisive, regret-inducing response that would go beyond the enemy’s expectations.
