Haddad Adel: Massive turnout at martyred Leader's funeral reflects nation's loyalty to system

Pars Today – A member of Iran's Expediency Council said organizing the funeral ceremony for the martyred Leader is a tremendous undertaking, stressing that such a major event requires comprehensive management and cannot rely solely on the efforts of government officials, but also depends on broad public participation.

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB News Agency, Gholam-Ali Haddad Adel said Monday night during a special television interview that the personality and moral character of Iran's martyred Leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, had established a relationship with the Iranian people that went beyond a formal or legal bond.

He said the people's connection with the Leader was rooted in affection, understanding, and obedience, emphasizing that this bond is founded on religious beliefs and Qur'anic teachings.

He said that over nearly five decades since the Islamic Revolution, the Iranian nation has experienced a model of religious leadership in which the Leader, through a simple lifestyle, detachment from worldly pursuits, and sincere service to the people, embodied the qualities of a just and compassionate ruler.

"His life was a clear example of indifference to worldly luxuries and self-sacrifice in the service of the country."

Referring to the funeral procession for Iran's martyred Leader, which is scheduled to take place next week, Haddad Adel said:

"This ceremony will be the most unprecedented historical event of the past century. Holding it in a dignified manner requires not only comprehensive management but also the broad participation and solidarity of the people. Everyone should contribute to this massive farewell to the best of their ability."

He added:

"This turnout of millions will convey to the world the Iranian nation's loyalty to the Islamic system and to religious leadership. It will demonstrate that the Leader, who devoted his entire life to the people, holds a deeply honored place in the hearts of millions."

In another part of his remarks, Haddad Adel referred to the historic funeral procession of Imam Khomeini (God bless his soul), the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and said:

"What will take place in Iran next week will be the most unprecedented event of its kind in the country's contemporary history. Through their participation, the people will once again demonstrate that the Islamic Revolution remains vibrant and alive."
