Funeral prayers for Iran’s martyred Leader to be held at 8 a.m. tomorrow

Pars Today – The official media outlet of the funeral organizing committee for the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution announced that the funeral prayers ceremony will be held at 8 a.m. on Sunday at Tehran’s Grand Mosalla.

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB News, the announcement stated that the funeral prayer (Salat al-Mayyit) for the body of martyred Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei (may God bless his pure soul), along with Martyr Dr. Mesbah al-Hoda Bagheri Kani, Martyr Sayyida Boshra Khamenei, Martyr Zahra Haddad Adel, and Martyr Zahra Mohammadi Golpayegani, will take place on Sunday morning at the Mosalla.

The committee for commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Khamenei further announced that farewell, funeral, prayers, and burial ceremonies are scheduled across several days: Saturday, 4th, and Sunday, 5th July will feature farewell ceremonies at Tehran’s Imam Khomeini Mosalla. On Monday 6th of July, the funeral procession will take place in Tehran, followed by a procession in Qom on Tuesday 7th of July. On Thursday 8th of July, the procession will continue in Mashhad, and the burial is planned at the shrine of Imam Reza (pbuh). An additional farewell and funeral ceremony is also scheduled for Wednesday 9th of July, in Najaf and Karbala.
