ParsToday – The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament stated that the security and economy of the region can only be achieved through cooperation and synergy among Islamic countries, and said: "We must bring Islamic nations closer together through unity and cohesion, and free them from the dominance of the United States and Israel."
According to ParsToday, citing IRIB News Agency, Mohammad al-Nu'aymi, Vice President of Yemen and a member of the Ansarullah Supreme Political Council, met and held talks with Mohammad Baqer Ghalibaf, the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, on Sunday on the sidelines of the farewell ceremony for the sacred remains of the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution.
In the meeting, Ghalibaf, while expressing gratitude for the presence of the Yemeni delegation at the farewell ceremony for the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution, praised the resilience of the Yemeni people and Ansarullah in the face of oppression and economic blockade. He stated: "Ansarullah and the people of Yemen have shown that they stand firm against actions that violate international norms and against the oppression of tyrants, and they have demonstrated an integrated display of the Resistance Front's power in economic, military, and political arenas."
Referring to the defeat of the United States and the Zionist regime in the Ramadan War, he added: "In the recent memorandum, the US and Israel were compelled to effectively recognize Iran's allies in the Resistance Front, and this is one of the achievements of that memorandum. Iran and the Resistance Front stood together against the US and Israel, and this memorandum, militarily and politically, constitutes a defeat for the US and an achievement for the Resistance Front."
Emphasizing that the prerequisite for strong negotiations is full readiness for war, he asserted: "If the Americans and the Zionist regime sense even a moment of weakness or a lack of militant spirit in us, they will resort to war."
Ghalibaf, pointing to the necessity of convergence among Islamic countries, noted: "Today, some Islamic countries that were under American influence and had ties with the Zionist regime have come to realize that neither the US nor Israel brings them security or economic prosperity. We must bring Islamic nations closer together through unity and cohesion."
Mohammad al-Nu'aymi, Vice President of Yemen, also emphasized in this meeting the importance of maintaining unity within the Resistance Front, adding: "What happened in Iran during the recent war has become a school of thought for the entire Resistance Front, and Iran's political actions have also been instructive."
