Pars Today — In a message issued on Friday expressing appreciation for the people’s massive participation in the funeral ceremony of the Leader of the Revolution, the high command of the IRGC stated that the demand for justice for the martyrs “will not be erased from the historical memory of the Islamic nation and the Axis of Resistance until full justice is achieved and an appropriate response is given to the perpetrators of these crimes, particularly the child-killing U.S. military.

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB News Agency, the high command of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps issued a statement thanking the proud people of Iran and all those involved in organizing the funeral ceremony of the martyred Leader of the Ummah.

The text of the statement reads as follows:

The magnificent scenes of farewell, mourning, and the grand funeral procession for the martyred Leader of the Ummah constituted a resurrection of faith, an uprising of loyalty, a renewal of commitment to the culture of Ashura, and a manifestation of the will of a nation that views the pure blood of its leader not as the end of a journey, but as the beginning of a new chapter of dignity, perseverance, and the flourishing of the front of truth.

The remarkable presence of people from all walks of life not only astonished and impressed observers around the world with the Iranian nation’s devotion to leadership, insight, and steadfastness, but also reflected the anti-imperialist spirit of a people nurtured in the school of Ashura.

This great event also echoed the powerful call to avenge the martyred Leader of the Ummah—a call arising from deep faith and religious conviction that shook the hollow might of the enemies of Islam, the Revolution, and the Axis of Resistance, once again proving that martyrdom is not the end of the path of those who struggle, but rather the beginning of a new era of dignity, strength, and growth for the front of truth.

The emotional farewell and funeral ceremonies attended by tens of millions of people in Iran and Iraq constituted an unprecedented event in history, once again revealing a profound reality and demonstrating to the world the depth of the bond between the leadership and the people.

The event highlighted the distinction between Islamic governance based on the path of Imam Ali (pbuh) and other systems of government. It added that Velayat-e Faqih means that, after forty-seven years of leadership, one is bid farewell by an ocean of tears from one’s nation; that after forty-seven years in power, one owns not even a single meter of land in the country, yet possesses the hearts of millions of people. The statement further said that this historic event contains profound lessons and meanings that scholars will continue to study and draw upon for years to come.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps expressed its deepest gratitude and appreciation to the great, insightful, resilient, and ever-present people of Iran, as well as to the officials, authorities, and organizers who, through meticulous planning, prudent management, sound judgment, a spirit of sacrifice, and tireless efforts, ensured the dignified, orderly, secure, and grand conduct of the farewell, funeral, and burial ceremonies for the martyred Leader of the Ummah.

A nation that, through its massive and resolute presence, conveyed to the world its message of unity, dignity, steadfastness, and loyalty to Islamic and revolutionary ideals and to the pure blood of the martyrs, demonstrated that no threat, crime, or conspiracy can shake its determination to defend Islam, Iran, and the Axis of Resistance. Undoubtedly, the statement added, this great service will be recorded among the enduring achievements of those who strive in the path of God and serve Islam and the Islamic Revolution.

The statement also expressed profound gratitude to the officials and to the brotherly, faithful, and steadfast people of Iraq, who, through their large, passionate, historic, and symbolic participation in the funeral ceremonies for the martyred Leader of the Ummah in Najaf and Karbala, once again displayed before the world the unbreakable bond between the Muslim peoples of Iran and Iraq and the unity of the Axis of Resistance.

It further described this remarkable turnout as a renewed pledge to the path of the martyred Leader, a reaffirmation of commitment to the ideals of the Islamic Ummah, and a manifestation of the unity of peoples who, for years, have stood side by side—sincerely and fraternally—under the banner of Imam Hussein (pbuh) against the front of disbelief and arrogance.

The blood of the martyred Leader of the Ummah has become a powerful source of awakening, dignity, strength, and solidarity within the Islamic world, reinforcing the resolve of free nations to continue along this path while bringing Iran’s adversaries closer to a future marked by defeat, isolation, and regret.

The statement concluded by saying that the criminal leaders of the United States and all enemies of the Islamic Revolution and the Axis of Resistance should know that, through the cowardly assassination of this divine leader, they will never be able to extinguish the divine light, weaken the resolve of faithful nations, or bring down the banner of resistance.

It added that the blood of the martyred Leader of the Ummah has placed an enduring obligation upon all free people around the world, and that seeking justice for the martyrs and punishing the perpetrators, planners, and supporters of the crime will remain a definite, legitimate, and unforgettable demand. According to the statement, this demand will not be erased from the historical memory of the Islamic nation and the Axis of Resistance until full justice is achieved and an appropriate response is given to the criminals, particularly the child-killing U.S. military.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps further declared that, alongside Iran’s other armed forces and the fighters of the Axis of Resistance, and under the command of the Commander-in-Chief, Ayatollah Imam Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei, it would continue the path of the martyred Leader of the Ummah with determination, vigilance, preparedness, and strength.

The statement concluded by asserting that the blood of the late leader would remain an enduring source of inspiration for the awakening of nations and for the continuation of the path of dignity, independence, and freedom. It added that this path, illuminated by the sacrifices of the martyrs and sustained by the faith of free peoples and their commitment to divine ideals, cannot be halted by any power.

“The future belongs to the front of truth, and God’s promise regarding the victory of the believers and the defeat of the arrogant is an unbreakable reality.”
