Pars Today – The spokesman for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters warned that the United States and the countries cooperating with the “criminal army” of the U.S. bear responsibility for all insecurity and the expansion of war in the region.
According to Pars Today, citing IRIB News Agency, Colonel Ebrahim Zolfaqari, spokesman for the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters of the Islamic Republic of Iran, said:
“The repeated adventurism and hostile actions of the United States aimed at interfering in the management of the Strait of Hormuz have seriously endangered regional security, international trade, and the passage of oil tankers and commercial vessels. Unfortunately, the cooperation of some countries in the region has also increased the risk of the conflict spreading throughout the region.”
He stressed:
“Following our previous warnings, we will under no circumstances allow the United States to interfere in the management of the Strait of Hormuz, and we will not permit it to do so.”
Colonel Zolfaqari said that the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran would respond forcefully to any disruption to the passage of commercial vessels and oil tankers caused by the aggressive and pirate-like U.S. military operating outside Iran’s designated routes and without authorization from Iran’s armed forces. He added that the recent actions of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and the Iranian Army serve as evidence of Iran’s determination in this regard.
He further warned regional leaders that any cooperation with the United States and any logistical support provided to its military would be regarded as an act of war against Iran’s sovereignty and national security. He added that, should the conflict expand across the region, the flames of war would engulf all countries in the area.
Colonel Zolfaqari also warned that responsibility for all insecurity and the escalation of conflict in the region lies with the United States and the countries that cooperate with its criminal military.
