Iran’s culture minister: Iranians will not be brought to standstill by missiles and bombardment

Pars Today – Iran’s Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance reacted to the destruction of the Bandar Abbas–Rudan bridge by American aggressors, saying that the Iranian people will not be brought to a standstill by missiles and bombardment.

According to Pars Today, citing Mehr News Agency, Seyyed Abbas Salehi, Iran’s Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, wrote on his social media account on Saturday evening (July 18, 2026), alongside an image of the destruction: “This is Bandar Abbas–Rudan today.”

Salehi added: “The American aggressors have destroyed the bridge along the route, but the people of Iran will not be immobilized by missiles and bombardment. They will turn their determination and their hearts into bridges, build new paths, and move forward.”
