Pars Today – Iran’s national chemistry Olympiad team won three silver medals and one bronze medal at the 58th International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO 2026) in Uzbekistan.
According to Pars Today, citing IRIB News, Iran’s Ministry of Education announced that the national chemistry Olympiad team competed in the 58th International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO 2026), held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, from July 10 to 19, 2026. The competition brought together more than 350 students from 90 countries.
During the event, Ali Shamsi Mofakhar, Mahyar Najjar, and Amirreza Hosseini each earned silver medals, while Ario Seyrafi won a bronze medal.
With their strong performance, the members of Iran’s team once again showcased the scientific capabilities and talents of the country’s students on the international stage.
