Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters Warns U.S.: Any attempt to impose a naval blockade on Iran to be considered expansion of war

Pars Today – The Central Headquarters of Khatam al-Anbiya of the Islamic Republic of Iran has warned that any U.S. implementation of an illegal naval blockade against Iran will be regarded as an expansion of the war in the region, and that Iran's Armed Forces will respond accordingly.

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB News Agency, the statement issued by the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters reads:

"As part of its continued acts of aggression and destabilization in the region, and in pursuit of enforcing an illegal naval blockade against Iran, the United States has, over the past three days, threatened Iranian commercial vessels and oil tankers operating in our country's territorial and coastal waters.

We warn that this U.S. action will be considered an expansion of the war in the region. As the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran have already demonstrated in practice, they will not leave any threat or hostile act by the terrorist military of that country unanswered and will confront it accordingly."
