Rear Admiral Sayyari: No movement takes place in Strait of Hormuz without Iran's permission

Pars Today – The Chief of Staff and Deputy Coordinator of the Iranian Army said the Iranian Navy maintains full control over the eastern Strait of Hormuz, the northern Indian Ocean, and the Sea of Oman.

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB News, Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari, Chief of Staff and Deputy Coordinator of the Iranian Army, said the Islamic Republic of Iran Navy is in a strong operational condition and that its personnel have full control over the eastern Strait of Hormuz, the northern Indian Ocean, and the Sea of Oman.

Sayyari stated that Iranian naval forces maintain a robust presence across the West Asia region, adding that Iran's servicemen remain firmly stationed and that no movement takes place in these strategic waters without their authorization.

Referring to the country's border security, the senior commander said security remains stable and satisfactory across all of Iran's land, maritime, and air borders.

He also referred to the role of the ideas and teachings of the late Martyr Imam Khamenei in strengthening the Islamic Republic of Iran's armed forces and said:

"Whatever strength and capabilities we possess today are the result of the guidance, policies, and directives of that revered martyred Imam."
