Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that countries assisting the aggressor will face a harsh response unless they change their conduct.
According to Pars Today, citing IRNA, the statement reads as follows:
In the name of God, the Breaker of the Oppressors
"Fight them until there is no more persecution."
The courageous people of Islamic Iran: Your determination, resolve, and steadfastness have disrupted the enemy's front, strengthened the ranks of the fighters of Islam, and breathed new life into their spirit and morale.
Last night, two oil tankers, encouraged by U.S. aircraft, attempted to leave the designated unsafe route south of the Strait of Hormuz. After one of the tankers caught fire, both vessels quickly turned back.
The Strait of Hormuz is our territory, and the brave sailors of the IRGC Navy maintain firm control over it. No outsider who has come from thousands of kilometers away will be allowed to interfere. With God's help, the aggressor will be punished today.
Countries that assist the aggressor will face a severe response if they do not change their conduct.
The Strait of Hormuz will not be reopened as long as U.S. officials continue threats, provocative rhetoric, and interference in maritime movements in the region. It adds that such threats and interventions will only make the situation more difficult and complex.
