Iran’s Assembly of Experts: Leader’s wise positions should be guiding principle for officials

Pars Today – The presiding board of Iran’s Assembly of Experts issued a statement emphasizing support for the positions of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and the preservation of national unity and cohesion.

According to Pars Today, citing Tasnim News Agency, the presiding board of Iran’s Assembly of Experts issued a statement expressing support for the dignified positions of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and stressing the need to preserve sacred unity and for all officials to fully adhere in practice to the guidance of the Leader.

The statement reads as follows:

In the name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful

Dear and revolutionary people of the Islamic Republic of Iran,

While offering condolences on the occasion of Arbaeen, commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), his family, and his loyal companions, and expressing appreciation and gratitude for the unprecedented participation of the resilient, grateful, and patriotic people of Iran, as well as the Iraqi brothers and officials of both countries, in holding the historic funeral ceremony of the martyred leader of the Ummah, Imam Khamenei (may God’s mercy be upon him), which conveyed a clear message of the Islamic Revolution’s steadfastness and refusal to surrender in the face of the enemies of humanity, the arrogant United States, the illegitimate Zionist regime, and their allies, the following points are presented:

1.   At the outset, we express our appreciation and gratitude for the wise, insightful, hopeful, enlightening, and dignified messages of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, which serve as guidance and direction for the honorable people of Iran and the Islamic Ummah and should remain a guiding principle for the officials of the system. We pray to Almighty God for the continuation of his blessed life with dignity and authority until the reappearance of our master and lord, Imam Mahdi (may our souls be sacrificed for him).

2. The recent developments and the actions of the aggressor regime, along with its repeated violations of the memorandum of understanding, have not only proven the invalidity of the U.S. president’s signature but have also made it clear that trusting this hegemonic government is nothing but a mirage. Hope for understanding and agreement with this bullying regime will lead nowhere, and any action to secure the rights of the Iranian nation must be carried out within the framework of the views, guidance, and directives of the Leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei.
3. Our civilization-building nation and our heroic armed forces are prepared to sacrifice their lives in defense of their dignity, honor, and security. The representatives of the nation in the Assembly of Experts salute the hands and arms of their courageous fighters, who have stood firmly against the enemies and brought them to a state of desperation, and they take pride in them.
4. The confrontation between the Islamic Revolution and the front of arrogance is a fundamental confrontation that will not end unless the arrogant powers abandon their aggressive and domineering behavior and accept the legitimate demands of the honorable people of the Islamic Republic of Iran, as reflected in the messages of the Leader. Based on undeniable evidence, the current war is a decisive battle in this arena, and any simplification or underestimation of the situation at this sensitive juncture could result in irreparable historic losses.

5.     Under such circumstances, preserving sacred unity and following the wise and guiding directives and commands of the Leader, as the final authority and the sole axis of unity, is an absolute necessity. Full practical commitment and adherence by all officials to the views of the Leader is a matter of both rational and religious obligation.

6. The continued presence of the faithful and vigilant people in public gatherings and street demonstrations for as long as the Leader deems necessary, and until certainty is achieved regarding the enemies’ despair, the definite defeat of their plots, and the emergence of the nation’s assured victory, remains essential.
7. In this sensitive historical situation, whispers of surrender from those spreading defeatism and conspiracies under the pretext of defending peace constitute an unforgivable betrayal, and taking legal action against such measures is the clear duty of the relevant authorities.

8.     In light of the clear and decisive statement by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, who said: “We pledge to avenge the pure blood of the martyred leader and all the martyrs of this war against the criminal and disgraced killers. This revenge is the demand of our nation and must certainly be carried out, and these criminals will take to their graves their wish for a peaceful death in their beds,” it is incumbent upon all freedom-seekers across the world to keep raised the banner of revenge and retribution for the martyred Imam and the oppressed martyrs of the second and third imposed wars.

It is emphasized that, given the national and international movement demanding retribution for the martyred Imam and other dear martyrs of the 12-day imposed war and the Ramadan war, officials have a duty to pursue the legal and strategic demands of the vigilant Iranian nation and the global resistance front using all available capacities and resources.
