ParsToday — Iran's karate team has concluded its campaign with 8 gold, 3 silver, and 8 bronze medals, winning the championship title in the kata category and securing the runner-up position overall.

cording to ParsToday, citing the IRIB News Agency, the Central Asian Karate Championships were held in Kazakhstan from August 1 to 4 (10 to 13 Mordad in the Iranian calendar).

In these competitions, Iran's team in the kata category won the championship with 7 gold, 3 silver, and 6 bronze medals.

Additionally, in the kumite category, three representatives from Iran succeeded in securing one gold and two bronze medals.

Overall, in both kata and kumite combined, Iran's team finished as runner-up behind the host country, Kazakhstan.
