IRGC: Foreign media acknowledgment of Trump's defeat result of revolutionary media efforts

Pars Today – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) issued a statement marking August 8, Iran's National Journalists' Day and the anniversary of the martyrdom of journalist Mahmoud Saremi.

According to Pars Today, citing Mehr News Agency, the IRGC statement said:

"May God's peace and blessings be upon you, journalists and media professionals, who, in the pursuit of enlightenment and under the most critical circumstances, have served as a source of hope and awareness and as champions of truth and steadfastness for the Iranian people.

August 8 commemorates the tireless efforts of Martyr Mahmoud Saremi and other distinguished journalist martyrs. It is a symbol of the media community's commitment and devotion to the Islamic Revolution and Iran, as well as to its lofty and civilization-building ideals."

The statement added: "Today, the region and the world are witnessing one of the most complex and decisive battles in contemporary history. In the second and third wars against the Islamic Republic of Iran, the United States and the Israeli regime, despite all their military efforts and actions as well as their media operations, have not only failed to achieve the declared objectives and sinister goals set out by the U.S. president, whom the statement describes as 'wicked and delusional,' but have also revealed new dimensions of strategic deadlock, divisions within the ranks of their Western allies, and the erosion of their hegemony.

The IRGC added that global media outlets, acknowledging Washington's failure to prevail over the Islamic Republic of Iran, are openly speaking of Trump's 'defeat' and 'self-made trap' in the war against Iran. They have even acknowledged that the agreements reached amounted to nothing more than a 'document of U.S. surrender' to the realities on the ground and Iran's negotiating leverage.

These acknowledgments demonstrate the strength of Iran's military power and active deterrence—capabilities that are owed to strategic foresight, the steadfastness of the Iranian people, and comprehensive support for Iran's armed forces, particularly the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), as well as the intelligent and precise efforts of revolutionary media outlets in countering the enemies' disinformation and hostile exaggerations."
