Zolghadr: Reopening Hormuz Strait depends on U.S. correcting its conduct

Pars Today – Iran's Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council said the Islamic Republic of Iran will never back down, whether in war or in negotiations.

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB, Mohammad Bagher Zolghadr, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, congratulated courageous journalists and those working in news, information, and public awareness on National Journalists' Day. Referring to the latest developments in Iran and the region, he said:

"The Strait of Hormuz will not be reopened until the United States corrects its conduct. Correcting its conduct means:"

1. Never threaten Iran under any circumstances or in any form, and never insult the sacred beliefs of the Iranian people.
2. Permanently end the war and aggression against Iran and its allies in Lebanon, Palestine, Yemen, and Iraq.
3. Lift the naval blockade and withdraw U.S. naval and air forces from around Iran.
4. Fully compensate Iran for the losses and damages caused by the two wars of aggression and imposed wars.
5. Lift the unjust and illegal sanctions imposed on the Iranian people.
6. Unconditionally release the frozen and stolen assets belonging to the Iranian people.

Zolghadr said these are the demands of the Iranian people, which they have repeatedly voiced during 160 days of unwavering presence in the streets and on the front lines.

He stressed that the Supreme National Security Council of Iran will never back down, whether in war or in negotiations.
