Maj. Gen. Vahidi: We brought most heavily armed army in history to its knees

Pars Today – Commander-in-Chief of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Major General Ahmad Vahidi, praised six months of military efforts by Iranian forces, saying they had brought the most heavily armed army in history to its knees through successful offensive and defensive operations under heavy fire.

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB, Vahidi wrote in a message: “The glory and greatness you demonstrated through six months of unprecedented struggle against the most bloodthirsty enemies of humanity have captured the attention of the world and revived hope in the hearts of the oppressed for ultimately overcoming the forces of domination.”

He added: “Relying on Almighty God and fighting victoriously under extremely difficult conditions—including the scorching heat and intense humidity of the islands and southern coasts, as well as the freezing temperatures of the towering border mountains in northern Iran—and through successful offensive and defensive operations under heavy fire, you brought the most heavily armed army in history to its knees.”
