Iran Army Chief to Trump: Iran has defenders who will break your legs

Pars Today — Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Army Major General Amir Hatami said: “The criminal US president says he wants to declare the Strait of Hormuz part of the land of crime. You have no right to do that! Even making such a statement as a joke is outrageous. This is Iran, and it has defenders who will break your legs.”

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB, Hatami said Sunday that one of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s achievements has been its victory in the media war. He stressed that the country is now witnessing the enemy’s tacit acknowledgments of defeat.

He added that, in this battle and in the media sphere, the enemy is also acknowledging the Islamic Republic of Iran’s victory. He attributed this to the Iranian people’s steadfastness, the sacrifices of the armed forces, the blessings of the martyrs’ blood, and the effective, accurate, measured, logical, and credible coverage of events by Iranian media outlets and journalists.

The commander-in-chief of the Iranian Army described the US president as a defeated figure, stressing that the delusional US president is making considerable efforts to portray himself as a winner. However, he said, few people in the world take him seriously today.

He added that the image of the United States now being portrayed by Western media is that of a loser— “the image of someone who, out of fear, hides in a food truck and leaves other government officials and journalists behind on an aircraft that the US Secret Service reportedly considered to be under threat.” He described this as “the image of a major loser.”

Elsewhere in his remarks, he referred to the restructuring of Iran’s armed forces, stressing that the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, through his decrees, has carried out a new military and security reorganization in the Islamic Republic. He said the message of this restructuring was that any escalation of military tensions in the region would make Iran even more determined in its defense.

Referring to claims about US military capabilities, the commander-in-chief of the Iranian Army said that the Americans had made numerous claims about their military power and, based on those claims, had extracted large sums of money and concessions. However, he said, the confrontation with Iran shattered that image of power.

He added that the United States no longer enjoys its former authority, pointing to countries’ growing efforts to pursue alternative paths to ensure their own security. He said the claims and stated ambitions of the Israeli regime have also contributed to this trend, as countries have realized that they must think about their own security and cannot rely on the United States.

Gen. Hatami said the Israeli regime and the United States are in their worst position, arguing that the Israeli regime and US warmongers are now at their most unpopular. He said that in the United States, being closer to the Israeli regime is no longer an advantage politically; rather, candidates and officials are expected to distance themselves from it. He described this as a sign of the peak of their unpopularity.

Major General Hatami also described the sacred Strait of Hormuz as a God-given geopolitical asset for the Iranian people and said this strategic leverage would never return to its previous state. He added that one of the US president’s legacies would be the activation of the strategic potential of the Strait of Hormuz.

The commander-in-chief of the Iranian Army announced that a new plan had been drawn up to punish American aggressors, saying: “Given the large number of requests to participate in the financial jihad, a plan has been prepared under which anyone who kills or captures an invading American serviceman and hands them over will receive a $30,000 reward from the Islamic Republic of Iran Army, funded by those participating in the financial jihad and guaranteed by the Army itself. Courageous Iranian women who accomplish this will receive twice the reward.”
