Brig. Gen. Ebn al-Reza: Iran inflicted strategic defeat on US, Zionist regime

Pars Today — Iran’s Acting Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics, stressing the country’s defense and deterrence capabilities, said that during the two recent wars, Iran’s Defense Ministry kept its equipment and weapons production lines operational despite enemy attacks and deployed new offensive and defensive systems on the battlefield under wartime conditions.

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB, Bri. Gen. Seyyed Majid Ebn al-Reza, Iran’s Acting Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics, said on Saturday that Iran’s defense industry is the product of decades of effort, self-reliance and resistance in the face of restrictions and sanctions.

He said: “This industry is built on self-sufficiency, knowledge-based capabilities and national progress. Its primary objective is to preserve peace, stability and national independence, while imposing deterrent costs on aggressors.”

Iran’s Acting Defense Minister, referring to the recent US and Israeli attacks on Iran, said: “The enemy believed that by assassinating Iran’s top political and military leadership, it could force the country’s decision-making structure to surrender within two weeks. But the Iranian nation, backed by faith, firm and wise leadership, national unity and resistance, was able to challenge the credibility and prestige of its enemies despite the disparity in military equipment.”

Brig. Gen. Ebn al-Reza stressed that genuine deterrence does not come from dependence on foreign suppliers, but from domestic technologies, a resilient and flexible industrial base, and the determination of a nation committed to defending its sovereignty.

He added: “We believe that effective deterrence is built by imposing unbearable costs on the aggressor, ensuring a decisive response, and preventing such aggression from being repeated. We put this concept into practice during this war.”

He added: “The Islamic Republic of Iran, relying on faith in God and under the leadership of Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, and drawing on national unity, its historical identity and the strength of its armed forces, will resolutely defend its national sovereignty and territorial integrity against any threat. It will continue along this proud and historic path with full force until all threats are completely removed and the rights and interests of the Iranian nation are secured.”
