Gen. Shekarchi: More than 1,000 Israeli soldiers killed in war with Iran

Pars Today – The senior spokesman for Iran’s Armed Forces said that more than 1,000 Israeli soldiers were killed and thousands more wounded in the war with Iran.

According to Pars Today, citing the Tasnim News Agency, Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi, senior spokesman for the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Armed Forces, said: “The US military is a Hollywood-style, propaganda-driven army created to plunder and exploit the resources of Muslim countries. Our greatest achievement is that we exposed the Hollywood facade of the US military and the Zionist regime, and the whole world realized how weak and demoralized these two militaries are.”

He added: “Today, countries around the world, including some countries where the US military maintains bases, no longer trust the Americans and have concluded that if the United States cannot defend itself, how can it defend its allies?”

Regarding US military casualties in the war, General Shekarchi said: “Based on evidence and indications, the United States suffered hundreds of military casualties in the third imposed war against the Islamic Republic of Iran, and thousands of American personnel were wounded in the war with Iran. In addition, during Israel’s military aggression against Iran, carried out with the cooperation of the US military, more than 1,000 Israeli soldiers were killed and thousands more were wounded.”

He added: “The Americans and the Zionist regime lie about their casualty figures and censor the truth. For example, they disclose the deaths of their military personnel in the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq years after the soldiers were killed, and then hand over their remains to their families.”
