Maj. Gen. Abdollahi: Tracking targets at farthest possible points is air defense strategy

Pars Today — The Chief of Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces and Commander of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Central Headquarters of Khatam al-Anbiya said that relying on domestic capabilities and talented young people is essential for providing a timely, revolutionary, and effective response to any level and type of conventional or emerging military threats against Iran.

According to Pars Today, citing IRNA, Major General Abdollahi said in a message marking September 1, observed in Iran as Air Defense Day: “September 1 is a reminder of the heroes who, with their lofty vision and determination, transformed Iran’s boundless airspace into a bastion of security and dignity. This important day, dedicated to ‘Air Defense,’ embodies the courage, knowledge, and steadfastness of those valiant men who, under their reliance on Almighty God and under the supreme authority of the Guardian of the Islamic Jurist and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, protect the sovereignty and airspace of the Islamic Republic of Iran.”

The Chief of Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces emphasized: “Undoubtedly, relying on domestic capabilities and talented young people to enhance Iran’s air defense electronic and cyber warfare capabilities, in order to maintain active deterrence against the growing threats posed by enemies, as well as strengthening combat readiness and training personnel in line with the ideals of the Islamic Revolution through careful planning, developing capable commanders, and fostering synergy with other branches of the Armed Forces, is in line with the broader strategy of Iran’s Armed Forces General Staff: to provide a timely, revolutionary, and effective response to every level and type of conventional and emerging military, cognitive, and hybrid threats against the Islamic Republic of Iran, in coordination and synergy with the Khatam al-Anbiya Air Defense Headquarters.”

Rear Admiral Sayyari: Air Defense Is the Vigilant Shield of Iran’s National Security

Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari, Chief and Coordinating Deputy of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Army, also issued a message marking Air Defense Day, addressed to the commander of Iran’s Joint Air Defense Headquarters, emphasizing the vital role of the force as a vigilant shield for national security.

Rear Admiral Sayyari stressed: “Undoubtedly, air defense is one of the pillars of Iran’s defensive power and the vigilant shield of national security. It is a force that, through round-the-clock presence and continuous monitoring of the country’s airspace, protects the nation’s sensitive and vital facilities and, in carrying out this sacred mission, never lets its guard or combat readiness lapse, even for a moment.”
