Pars Today – Iran’s Foreign Minister has responded to recent remarks by his Jordanian counterpart, asking: How long should Iran wait before responding to an aggressor?
According to Pars Today, citing IRIB, Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, in a post on X responding to remarks by Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, wrote: “How long does he think Iran should wait before responding to an aggressor who respects neither the sovereignty of Arab countries nor Iran’s sovereignty?”
Araghchi added: “Is he really unaware that, during the initial US attacks, the airspace, territory, and waters of Arab countries were used—attacks that resulted in the deaths of innocent Iranians?”
Ayman Safadi, the Jordanian foreign minister, who had previously been mocked over his claim that no US forces were present in Jordan, alleged that Iran attacked Jordan and other countries in the region two hours after the war began, meaning that its attack was not a response.
