Pars Today- Iran’s Parliament Speaker has reacted to a Bloomberg report by sharing a video clip from a famous American cartoon.

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB, Mohammad Baqer Ghalibaf, Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, shared a clip from the famous American animated series The Simpsons in response to a Bloomberg report that fuel prices had reached $9.99 at a gas station in the United States.

Bloomberg reported that fuel prices had reached $9.99 at a gas station in San Diego, California, noting that the price signs had run out of space to display higher figures.

In response, Mohammad Baqer Ghalibaf shared a scene from The Simpsons in which such record-high fuel prices in the United States are depicted as having been predicted. In the clip, after the fuel price reaches double digits and the price sign can no longer display the figure, the main character humorously talks about fuel becoming free.

The Simpsons is one of the world’s best-known animated series and is famous for its alleged predictions of various events.
