Pars Today- Iran’s Parliament Speaker has responded to claims by US officials that the Strait of Hormuz is open, stressing that either the market’s dumb or the US narrative; everyone knows the former is not true.
According to Pars Today, citing IRIB, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, Speaker of Iran's Parliament, wrote on his X account Sunday night in response to US officials’ claims that the Strait of Hormuz is open:
“US gaslighting bureau says Iran doesn’t control the Strait of Hormuz, but the market prices a big premium: $35 above the level before the aggression, and $50 based on physical oil prices.
“So either the market’s dumb or the US narrative-laundromat is faking it. Free-dollar vending machine in Hormuz for believers. Go grab it!”
