600 works of Iranian and Russian artists in "Drawing of Friendship"; festival for cultural exchange of two great nations
Pars Today- The drawing competition, "Drawing of Friendship", as the first cultural exchange between Iran and Russia, will be held for one month from August 14, 2024 at the Academy of Watercolor and Fine Arts of Sergey Andriyaka in Moscow.
More than 600 works of the Iranian and Russian artists have been sent to the competition, "Drawing of Friendship" and the chosen works will be put on public display. According to Pars Today, Iran's cultural attaché in Moscow, Masoud Ahmadvand, said on the event, "Iranian young artists have drawn the image they had in mind on the canvas and the Russian artists, for their part, have drawn their view of Iran."
Ahmadvand added, "In the opening of the exhibition, "Drawing of Friendship" winners will be rewarded cash and non-cash prizes such as trip to Russia and Iran."
The Iranian cultural attaché in Russia mentioned the "Drawing of Friendship" competition as the first cultural exchange between Iran and Russia and said, "The visitors of the exhibition of chosen works of this competition will see 200 works of young talents and 40 works of prominent maestros."

Ahmadvand went on to say, "After Moscow, the exhibition of chosen works of this competition will be held in other Russian cities such as Saint Peters Burg, and Kazan. Then these works will be transferred to Iran for exhibition in Tehran, Isfahan and Shiraz."
