1000 Palestinian children martyred in one week; Israelis hell-bent on spread of famine, diseases in Gaza
Pars Today- The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), referring to the lack of food aid in the Gaza Strip, informed of martyrdom of 1000 Palestinian children in one week since the start of the new phase of the Zionist regime aggression in the region.
According to Pars Today, UNRWA announced, "We are witness to an unprecedented upsurge of the dead and injured among the civilians on the Gaza Strip. No aid has entered Gaza since March 2 and the conditions are sorrowful and deteriorating in the region."
UNRWA added, "There is no food aid in the warehouses to distribute among the people of Gaza. Therefore, catastrophic dangers will occur in the coming days. We have recorded the spread of epidemics, hepatitis, and increase of cancerous and chronic diseases."
The UN-affiliated World Food Programme (WFP), has just announced that the food reserve is over in Gaza.
Since the Zionist regime imposed its blockade on March 2, stopping the entry of humanitarian aid and commercial goods into Gaza, WFP has been the only steady source and largest provider of hot meals in the region.
