Pars Today – Bahrain’s leading Shia cleric, Sheikh Isa Qassim, described Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution, as “a great scholar, an outstanding jurist, a great revolutionary, a perceptive statesman, a wise leader, and a man of the Hereafter.”

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB News, Sheikh Isa Qassim issued a statement as the farewell ceremonies for the late Iranian leader began, noting the large turnout of people from Iran and other countries. He said that millions had gathered from inside and outside Iran to bid farewell to a figure who had devoted his life to Islam and humanity.

Sheikh Isa Qassim described the late leader as “a righteous servant of God” whose loss had filled the hearts of believers with sorrow. He added that the world would attain guidance, goodness, security, peace, and human brotherhood only when its affairs are entrusted to people like him and to followers of the authentic path of Islam.

He also referred to Islam’s role in nurturing capable leaders, saying that, during the occultation of the Twelfth Imam, the religion is able to cultivate figures capable of guiding human society according to divine values. He described the leadership of the martyred Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei as an example of this model.

The Bahraini cleric also praised the roles of Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Revolution, and the martyred Ayatollah Khamenei, saying that their efforts to return Iranian society to the path of Islam opened a path to salvation not only for the Iranian people but for people around the world.

Sheikh Isa Qassim further said that the struggles of Imam Khomeini and the martyred Ayatollah Khamenei would receive a great reward from God, adding that they had devoted their lives to seeking God's pleasure and guiding His servants.

The Bahraini religious authority prayed for victory, dignity, and divine support for the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Islamic resistance, and the Muslim community, expressing hope that the divine promise of the triumph of truth would soon be fulfilled.
