Pars Today – As the time for the funeral ceremony of the sacred body of the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution in the holy cities of Najaf and Karbala approaches, Iraq is witnessing an unprecedented wave of official, popular, tribal, security, and service preparations.

According to Pars Today, citing IRNA, Iraq is these days awaiting one of the most significant religious and political events of recent years. Concurrent with the approaching transfer of the sacred body of the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution to Iraq, the public atmosphere in the country has taken on the tone of preparation for holding a rare ceremony—a ceremony scheduled to take place on Wednesday in the holy cities of Najaf and Karbala. Already, all official bodies, popular institutions, tribes, religious delegations, and Iraqi security forces have been placed on alert for holding it magnificently.

Official closures in seven provinces, the formation of special committees, the mobilization of the Hashd al-Shaabi, the preparation of Hussaini processions, the declaration of readiness by tribes and popular delegations, and the holding of coordination meetings at various levels all indicate the broad determination of Iraqis to host a ceremony they describe as a historic event, a symbol of loyalty to the martyred leader of the Revolution, and a renewal of allegiance to the path of resistance.

Iraqi media have reported that in Baghdad, Najaf, Karbala, Diwaniyah, Nasiriyah, Basra, and other Iraqi provinces, coordination meetings and operational procedures for welcoming the sacred body of the martyred leader of the Revolution are continuously underway.

According to a report by Al-Ahd News Network, in Al-Hamza Square in central Baghdad, extensive activities are being carried out to prepare sites related to the ceremony and equip necessary infrastructure, and executive committees are planning around the clock to manage the massive public turnout.

In Najaf, preparations have entered their final phase. Local officials, religious institutions, security forces, and popular committees have meticulously formulated the program for welcoming the sacred body of the martyred Leader.
