Ammar al-Hakim calls on Iraqis to attend funeral of Iran's martyred Leader in large numbers

Pars Today – The head of Iraq's National Wisdom Movement has called on the Iraqi people to participate in large numbers in the funeral ceremonies for the martyred Leader of Iran's Islamic Revolution.

According to Pars Today, citing Mehr News Agency, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, leader of Iraq's National Wisdom Movement, urged Iraqis to attend the funeral procession of the martyred Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, stressing that such a turnout would send a message of solidarity, loyalty, and the deep bonds between the brotherly nations of Iran and Iraq.

Meanwhile, Saad Maan, head of Iraq's Security Media Cell, announced that all necessary security and logistical preparations have been completed for the funeral ceremonies in the holy cities of Karbala and Najaf. He said regular coordination meetings are being held with the participation of all security agencies and the Army Aviation Command to oversee the implementation of the security plans.

Maan added that an official reception ceremony for the body of the Leader of the Islamic Ummah will be held on Tuesday at Najaf International Airport, attended by Iraqi officials and a high-level delegation from the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Saad Maan added that the public funeral procession in the holy city of Karbala will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. He said the six-kilometer procession route will extend from the Sadrain Bridges to the Imam Ali (pbuh) Shrine in Najaf, with 351 Husseini mawkibs (religious service processions) taking part in the ceremony.

Maan also said that more than 600 Arab and international journalists are expected to attend the funeral, while over 3,000 Iraqi, Arab, and foreign media professionals will provide coverage of the event.

Meanwhile, an Iraqi source announced that Iraqi Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi will attend the funeral ceremony for Iran's martyred Leader in Najaf.
