Omani Foreign Minister Badr Al Busaidi
Pars Today – Oman’s foreign minister has criticized the escalation of tensions in the region, saying that the gravest threats originate not from Tehran but from Tel Aviv.
According to Pars Today, citing Mehr News Agency, Omani Foreign Minister Badr Al Busaidi said on Tuesday that Oman bears the responsibility of cooperating with Iran and the international community to establish mechanisms that guarantee freedom of navigation for ships.
The minister stated that the most serious threats to the security of the Persian Gulf do not arise from within the region itself, but rather stem from decisions and actions taken outside the region, particularly from Tel Aviv.
He further stressed that relations with the United States should be recalibrated to better align with the strategic realities that emerged during the recent conflict.
Describing the recent war involving the United States and Israel against Iran as catastrophic, Al Busaidi said that it had neither received authorization from the United Nations nor achieved any of its stated objectives.
