Pars Today – The spokesperson for Yemen's Armed Forces said the group had targeted oil transmission lines running from eastern Saudi Arabia to Yanbu using multiple drones.

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB News Agency, Yahya Saree, spokesperson for Yemen's Armed Forces, said on Monday that several sensitive sites involved in the supply and transportation of crude oil from eastern Saudi Arabia were targeted in the drone operation.

He said the strike was carried out in response to repeated violations of Yemen's airspace by Saudi drones.

Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs quickly issued a statement confirming that oil facilities in the Eastern Province had come under attack.

The statement claimed that the drones had been launched from Iraq. Saudi Arabia operates several major oil facilities in the Eastern Province, particularly around the city of Dammam.
