Iraqi Nujaba Movement chief: Diplomacy with Saudi Arabia is ineffective; military response necessary

Pars Today – The Secretary-General of Iraq's Nujaba Movement said diplomacy with Riyadh has yielded no results and stressed the need for an appropriate military response.

According to Pars Today, citing Mehr News Agency, Sheikh Akram al-Kaabi, Secretary-General of the Iraqi Nujaba Movement, said the diplomatic option with Saudi Arabia has proven ineffective and condemned the country for being behind most of the conspiracies targeting Iraq and its people.

Al-Kaabi added that the hands of the Al Saud are stained with the blood of Iraqis, stating that Saudi Arabia had financed and supplied thousands of explosive devices used to kill innocent people.

He stressed that punishing the Al Saud and holding them accountable would require an appropriate military response, which, he said, would honor the blood of the martyrs—particularly members of the Popular Mobilization Forces (Hashd al-Shaabi)—who were martyred by treacherous hands.

Al-Kaabi also referred to the missile capabilities of Iraqi resistance forces and warned:

"A missile is answered with a missile, and fire is answered with fire."
